Gant Watch Review

Today I present you a Gant Watch that I bought from TJ Maxx for just 30 bucks. I was tagged with a red discount label which meant the lowest price, so I jumped for it. You can't go wrong with a functioning watch for only 30 bucks.

The watch came with a beautiful black leather strap. I thought it was so dressy and I threw it a black NATO which I think made it look a little sportier.

I know this is against my rule of never buying a watch from a company whose primary job has nothing to do with watches. But this came with so low a price that I couldn't resist. By the way Gant is a giant fashion company who sells various outfit.

The watch is all stainless steel and the glass is I think made out of mineral. The face has a nice dome to it , which not usually featured at this price range. The watch doesn't tick because it has no second hand. I am not very fond of watches without a second hand since I think they don't give the necessary mechanical feel to it.

The hands are lumed although it doesn't glow for long periods. The Arabic hour markers do not have any lume at all. The watch has two smaller dials, showing day and date. So the watch has this nice working day-date complication. The crown has been etched with Gant's logo, a G letter, which is a plus.

Overall, the watch is a nice piece, especially concerning the price of it, it is a score. So, whenever you stumbled into a TJ MAXX at your vicinity go check the jeweler's corner. Chances are high that you will run into a bargain. If you come across a Gant watch that is price below 60 dollars, I call it a bargain.

Peace....
